Did everything workout for you? Did you become pregnant and have the baby?

Thanks for asking. I did a fresh IVF cycle in May, 2008. 57 eggs (I'm a high responder) were retrieved, 45 mature. They ICSI'd all and 28 fertilized. They froze 14 and PGD'd 13 (one didn't make it to PGD). 8 gave off no signal and 5 were normal . We transferred 2 and froze the other 3. I did get a BFP and was pregnant with a girl. Unfortunately, at 22 weeks I went into unexpected preterm labor. I am now scheduled to do a FET in May, 2009. The PTL had nothing to do with the PGD and we are planning on thawing 8 and doing PGD on those to give us the best chance. I think PGD increased our chances of success by knowing which are the best to transfer. For instance, what if we had transferred 2 of the ones that gave off no signal? Just my opinion on PGD. Have you made a decision on whether to pursue?

I already did a cycle of IVF w/ ICSI & PGD. I started in Aug 2008, got my BFP, but miscarried at 7wks.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine, I was a mess when I miscarried at 7weeks.

Are you a carrier of cf or do you have cf?
