clear cm in luteal phase

Hi Dr Fisch,

Lately I have been noticing that towards the end of my Luteal phase and about 6days before my period, there is clear liquid /sometimes mucus in this 6day phase. I do not think this is infection of any kind as I have been noticing this pattern in my past 3cycles. Pls adv what could this be? I almost feel it looks like fertile CM but know it can not be this during my luteal phase. Could this be due to some harmone imbalance of some kind?Pls adv.
