Default Doctor prescribed Metadate CD for ADHD, heard of it?

I havent! It is a time release pill that we can open and sprinkle over her food or put in liquid for her to drink. The ped thought it would be better than her having to take something mid day like Ritalin.

Anyone with any experience with this? Oh and it is 50 bucks for my copayment amount yikes!

Default Yes, this is the one we use currently. It is harder to get

in higher doses. No problems on it.

    Default From what I read...

I think it is the same exact thing as Ritalin, just in a longer acting form. I found this article and it is really great about describing the different drugs available for ADHD. Read reply #2.
