    Thanks all. Good idea to keep the note handy for those rough days!

    Diana, yes, the focalin was added to help with the activity level and to help him settle down and get his work done. I still think that Tanner has many characteristics of Asperger's also, but does not meet the full diagnostic criteria and definitely seems to be doing better on this combination of medications. His psychiatrist seems to think that his social difficulties stem mainly from anxiety and ADHD. On the straterra alone, we saw some improvement, but not to this extent. The other thing the straterra does is help keep him from having those peaks and valleys that you sometimes see with stimulant meds when it's wearing off.

    I can only hope to get such a wonderful note one day.

    Congrats. i'm glad to hear that you have found a combo of meds that are helping. It definitely is an art.
