Default Requesting IEp Drafts before meeting...m

I have never done this till today, and though my younger ds meeting is next Wednesday at 11:30 I was told they could not have a draft ready till Monday afternoon That does not leave me with much time to go over their goals, etc.

Is that the "norm" as far as time frame?

    TIA,
    Wendy

Default I got ours on a Thursday afternoon...m

for an 8:00 a.m. Monday meeting. So although I had a weekend, I don't think I would have gotten any more than 48 hours if it was in the middle of the week. Just remember that you do not have to sign or approve the IEP at the meeting. You can take it home with you and send it in with proposed revisions or a signature at a later date. It is your right. So don't feel rushed or pressured. If the outcome of the meeting doesn't feel totally right to you, take it home and run it by anyone you want. Just be sure it's signed by the last day of school so you don't run into summer break.

    Good luck!

Default Kind of the norm here

I think our regs say simply in advance of the meeting- not sure it actually gives a timeframe, but I have gotten them the day before previously.
    Good luck!
