    Default need info about testing

Hi I'm new here. I'm 35. I've been ttc for #2 for over 2 years. It took me about 18 months to get pg. with #1. She was conceived naturally. I gave birth to her 2 1/2 weeks early due to my water leaking. All of the OBGYNs and REs feel that I have unexplained IF. I went to see a specialist in NYC that believes that infections may be my issue. My husband and I tested pos. for Chlamydia. The Dr. feels that it was vertically transmitted to me from my family (I was born with it). I went through antibiotic treatment...antibiotic lavages -5 of them, husband had 5 prostate injections (antibiotics) and we were both on 2 months of oral antibiotics - biaxin and macrobid. My periods did improve...color is a brighter red and hardly any clots and full flow. My periods used to be brown, slow to start..spotting, huge clots and cramps. I also don't feel as tired. We ttc for the first time and it's a no. I'm so disappointed . It felt like something was happening and then it fizzled out. A week after I ovulated, I felt nauseous...like motion sickness. I had this for about 2 days. My breasts became sore the next 2 days. One night they were so sore I couldn't move and then the next day not so much. I also felt a pain under my armpit...I'm guessing a sign of infection.
I would like to have immune testing done. I just don't know how to go about it. Money is a big issue. I would like to have this testing done with out spending thousands if that is possible. I don't want to do IVF. I just want to know what's wrong. I would appreciate any info you may have for me. Thanks!

Im sorry to hear of your difficulties. For more information about the tests included in the Implantation Failure Panel, you may visit the material on implantation failure on this website or visit the website of Millenova Immunology Laboratories at millenova.com. You could talk with your doctor about ordering these tests or, if that is not possible, you may call 847 869 7777 and make an appointment for consultation and we can order the tests. This consultation may be done over the telephone if more convenient for you. Dr. Coulam
