Default How long are frozen embryos viable?

    Hi Dr. Saleh,

I have 3 frozen embryos in one stick that were frozen 4 years ago (donor's age was 24 at that time). They made it to the blasto stage, and were frozen. I do not remember details about the embryos condition.

Is it still possible for these to survive thawing and implant after 4 years?
Is there an increased risk for developmental problems for a baby from such an embryo? If so, what is the % of increased risk?

Thank you for your time and your answers....

My pleasure. 4 years is perfect and these embryos should not be at any increased risk of anomalies. Wish you the best.
