Thumbs up Me here, although I haven't been posting for ages...

Bree was born 8 weeks prem with her twin brother, and also with congenital heart defects. Throughout her first year she had a ton of different health issues plus 2 heart operations.

Beginning of last year she finally hit the growth curves for the first time and was aslo discharged from all her therapy services of PT, OT and ST.

Bree still needs more surgery in the future and we have discovered from her last PC appt that she has another heart issue that needs to be watched, all in all it could be a lot worse *phew*

That's Bree in a nut shell

    Cheers

Talking I think I'm in!!!! (sibs)

Like some of you have already noted, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by this new posting method. So glad I finally figured out how to post (seems I was in "Threaded Mode" and couldn't post).... hmmmmm, I WILL figure this out, lol!

So NICE to have a more secure place to post!

    Laura
mom to triplets, Christian, Nicholas and Zachary 10/18/02
    and Cecelia 09/24/04

all have sensory issues, but Christian's are out of control... so i'll mainly be posting about Christian (partial agenesis of corpus callosum (brain structure anomaly), SID, tentative diagnosis of PDD/NOS, Asperger's...
sensory seeking crasher, loud talker, and space invader... also a heart stealer with his smiles and funny sense of humor (very exacting with his language and it's meaning)... meltdowns with transitions, and paralyzed by changes in flooring material...

(let's see if my happy cheerleader showed up too!)

    Default I'm here too (m) ....

Julie L with Jordan, age 7. Not sure of diagnosis yet ... looks like probably PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated With Streptococcal Infection) or perhaps just a transient tic disorder. Still working through a diagnosis ...

    Default I'm here too!

I am Adria, mom to Miles (11.19.01) who is newly diagnosed with ADHD and some social anxiety, Sawyer (11.26.02) who was born with Hirschsprung's Disease and Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome, and Lincoln (09.02.05) who, so far, is just a non-sleeper!
