    Default Anyone around?

Interesting discussions at my house recently about my boys (twins) being adopted and their sister being biological. Just wanted to chat.

Default I'm wondering at what age do kids typically bring up

the topic themselves? My kids never do. My son will be 7 in March and my daughter will be 6 in May.

My twins are almost 7 and their bio sister is almost 6. The boys have started discussing it all the time lately. They talk about how they look alike to each other but not their sister or mommy and daddy. They are very interested in the whole concept recently.

We have had to talk a few times about how I'm their mommy and she was their birthmom. I'm not sure what has started this stream of discussions. In the past year they have gotten 2 new cousins and that caused talk of how they were in "the lady" and they use to beat each other. They think that is very funny.

They did ask me why she didn't keep them and I told them the truth which is because there were 2 of them and she couldn't take care of two babies.
